Community Driven

You’re part of our community. Vashon Explorers Preschool is a nonprofit preschool dedicated to supporting local children and families through high-quality early childhood education.

“Ashlea and Lisa create a warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can thrive. Through their thoughtful guidance, my child practiced foundational life skills that help people move confidently through the world, like working as part of a group, developing independence, practicing self-help skills, and building meaningful relationships.

What stands out most is the way Ashlea and Lisa truly see each child as a unique individual. They honor each child’s personality, strengths, and developmental journey, creating a space where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to grow.

They are also responsive communicators and genuine partners with parents and caregivers. Their collaborative approach fosters trust and ensures that families feel connected and informed. We are deeply grateful for the care, dedication, and positive impact they have had on our child’s early years.”
